SSLC and SISC officers take Lakbay Aral at Villar Sipag

Led by Dr. Genevieve Ladesma Tan, Chief Executive Mentor (CEM) of Southville Global Education Network (SGEN). Key officers of South SEED-LPDH College and Southville International School and Colleges went through a crush course in the Lakbay Aral of Villar Sipag on August 28, 2019.

The group learned a lot about recycling of plastics, product making out of water lily and coconut husks, citronella oil.

As a take away, Ms. Aleli Baes, SSLC Dean College of Pharmacy, learned that the BS Pharmacy students can come up with Citronella Oil from Citronella Plant scientifically known as Cymbopogon Nudia. She said this is an urgent project in time for National Dengue Outbreak. Since Citronella is a mosquito repellent, this can be an income generating project for SSLC.

Among the officers in the group were Dr. Remedios Lagera, Engr. Dulanan, Mr. Jimmu Mediavillo and Sir Ronald Verde.
